Breeding Rocky and Kentucky Mountain Horses

At Whispering Meadows Stables, registered Rocky and Kentucky Mountain Horses are our only business.  We are dedicated to breeding top quality Mountain Horses for pleasure and show.  In 1998 we decided to start a breeding program with the Rocky Mountain Horses.  We traveled to a number of farms and chose four mares and a stallion based on conformation, natural gait, temperament, and color.  Since then our herd has grown to nine mares and two stallions and is growing every year.  We are located twenty-five miles south of Sedalia, MO near Truman Lake and Lake of the Ozarks.

Prized as horses who can take you to the show, a quiet hack, or simply a companion, these intelligent and people-friendly horses will fulfill your equine expectations, what ever your discipline.
